Hello everyone!
Last week Wednesday Peter went on a City Tour with the Chief Executive of South African Tourism, Thulani Nzima and Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency head Luxolo Rubushe. This little tour was supposed to last only about 2 hours. I don’t know what they talked about, but, it ended up lasting NINE HOURS!! According to Peter, he hasn’t had this much fun in a very long time.
The idea was to stay in Port Elizabeth itself, but ended up going all the way to Tsitsikama and the Bloukrans Bridge. The highlight of the day was of course doing the bungee jump of Bloukrans.
As you can see by the above picture, a good time was had by all!!
With people like Thulani and Luxolo in charge of developing tourism in the Eastern Cape and South Africa, there is no reason why the industry can’t grow to even bigger heights in South Africa. Their enthusiasm and professionalism was plain for all to see. With their help, I can see good times ahead for all involved.
Here’s hoping that they will join us for another day of adventure in the near future and we wish them well in their business of keeping us in business.
